Management


Parker Dale: Chairman of the Board
Mr. Dale was for many years highly active in the securities industry, with management, marketing and corporate finance experience at senior level positions with investment banking firms in Los Angeles and New York. He also serves as Chairman of the Board, CEO and President of International Daleco Corporation, a venture capital / merchant banking firm he co-founded in 1979, and Neozyme International. Mr. Dale has overseen the BOC formula and product development, domestic and international patent filings and approvals, and market development. He has played an essential role in the development of the BOC technology foundation and market development.

Parker David Dale: President
Mr. Dale joined the Company in June 2002 as President. Mr. Dale has over 30 years of experience in building high technology ventures. His focus has been on developing the Company’s marketing and technology development. Additionally, he has been critical in building distribution and sales channels, both domestically and internationally. Previously, he organized the selection of the Company as a key technology provider to the ‘United Nations Environmental Program for New Advanced Technologies’ for new cost-effective solutions to the developing world’s water and toxic waste pollution problems.

Over his 30 year career he has independently invested capital and performed investment banking and marketing functions for a number of companies. He has served on numerous management teams and boards of directors, and he was instrumental in developing the first publicly registered Research and Development Limited Partnership with the SEC During these years, he had the opportunity of working with many of the key scientists and technologists who were responsible for developing the fundamental bioengineering technologies deployed today across many fields of industry. This extensive background has provided him with the foundation underlying many of technical implementation issues relevant to the introduction of BOC technology. Mr. Dale is a graduate of University of California – Irvine.

Jay Johnston: Executive Vice President
Mr. Johnston has 30+ years experience in business-to-business sales, product development, and marketing within the industrial, institutional and consumer industries. He is a sales dynamo, and initiated and developed groundbreaking relationships with wastewater treatment facilities in New York City, a major food processor, and landfill operations in Pennsylvania for treating landfill leachate. As an executive, he sold chemicals and detergents to restaurants, hospitals, and hotels; and labeling technology to Fortune 500 manufacturers in the detergent, pharmaceutical, dairy and water industries. He established broker networks and increased sales with Metro Label Co. from $50,000 to $2,500,000 and with Sunshine Quality Products from $250.000 to $10 million. He has a B.S. degree from SUNY.

In Memoriam, Steve Geier
Steve Geier: Executive Vice President – Sales & Marketing
Mr. Geier has been working with Bio-Organic Catalyst since its inception in 1993. He has over 40 years of sales and marketing experience, and taught these subjects at the college level. His extensive business experience includes co-founding a public company (sold to H.J. Heinz), co-founding a healthcare/software company (designated official fitness program for the 1984 Olympic Games in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia, and 20 years of service with the Penn Mutual Insurance Company as one of their top national salesmen.

He has been instrumental in initiating and developing relationships with many high profile commercial and hospitality clients, including the New York City wastewater treatment facilities, The Luxor, The Peninsula Hotel, The Bellagio, Wynn Las Vegas, Treasure Island, The Orleans, Embassy Suites – San Diego, The Hustonian Hotel, Huston TX, The Aria Hotel, Las Vegas, The Adara Condo Hotel, Las Vegas, Hotel Bel Air, Beverly Hills, CA, the Swan & Dolphin Hotel, Orlando FL and the Fairmont Hotel San Francisco. Other clients include Paramount Studios, National Blue Beacon Truck Wash, The Pala Casino, and the Irvine Company LLC.

Simon Shah: Vice President Global Development
Mr. Shah has over 20 years of investment banking and business development experience. In the 1980’s he worked with Goldman Sachs, as part of their Financial Strategies Group, where he designed trading systems for fixed income securities. In the 1990’s, he invested in a variety of technology and pharmaceutical companies as well as investing in international real estate. Mr. Shah has provided business development services for over twenty companies, including raising over $100M from institutional, strategic and private investors. Since 2010, he has been working with Bio-Organic Catalyst, Inc., setting up international distributorships for our breakthrough line of green products.

Dr. Alberto Daniel Venica: Pulp & Paper Technical Consultant
Dr. Venica, Ph.D., has over 25 years of experience in the Pulp and Paper, and Chemical Industries. He has extensive knowledge in Pulp production, Paper-making applications, and Wet-end chemistry. He is a member of the Technical Association of Pulp and Paper Industry (TAPPI), and the Technical Association of Argentine Pulp and Paper Industry (ATIPCA). Dr. Venica attended Universidad Nacional de Córdoba and has a Ph.D. in Wood and Paper Science from North Carolina State University.

Ricardo Khayatte – Chile, Director
Mr. Khayatte is the Founder and President of South American Business Development Corporation. Ricardo has had more than 30 years of success in developing business between North and South America. He specializes in opening Latin American markets for U.S. and Canadian companies. Born and raised in Chile and Argentina, Studied Engineering and has a Bachelor in Business.

Ricardo has an extensive network of high-level contacts throughout Latin America, in different industries. He has served as President and CEO of large organizations; Viplastic Chile (1600 employees) and Teheran Carpet S.A. (1500 employees) Westrade Enterprises in Vancouver, Canada, as well as technology companies; Qdata Software Inc., and ITS Impact Technology Solutions. Mr. Khayatte has a strong combination of entrepreneurial and managerial skills with considerable deal-making experience. Ricardo is a member of the Canadian Council of the Americas and serves on the board of several companies in South America.

Jairo Quintero Dussan – Columbia, Strategic Regional Partner
Jairo Quintero Dussan is a Chemical Engineer from the Industrial University of Santander (1983), MBA from North University (1987). He worked 10 years in the production area in Lloreda Grasas, Nestle and Fruco. Later, he worked as an engineer and sales manager for 15 years with chemicals products for Water Treatment in BetzDearborn and Protecnica Ingeniería companies. Founding Partner from Tratamientos Químicos Industriales S.A.S (2004) and Commercial Director in the same company since 2008. Since the beginning he has been the responsible for the development of the company, seeking new technologies and implementations to offer them to the Colombian and Latin American markets.

Dr. Christian Boese – European Market Development
Dr. Boese has extensive experience in the agricultural and renewable energy space. He worked for the World Bank, the FAO and the European Commission in setting up modern agricultural procedures in numerous countries, i.e. Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Hungary, Serbia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and numerous other countries. Dr. Boese is very experienced in operations of Biodigesters, and was a member on the management team of Eon Biogas for many years. He also served on the Board of the German Biogas association. Dr. Boese holds a Ph.D of Bonn University in Agriculture and is managing director of Renew Sources GmbH in Germany, which acts as strategic partner of Bio-Organic Catalyst for Europe. His focus is the use of BOC in the renewable energy space as well as in agricultural applications and odor control.

Dr. Vladimir Rakhamimov – China, Eastern Europe and the CIS Market Development
Dr. Rakhamimov is a Civil Engineer in the wastewater treatment from the Azerbaijani Civil Engineering University (1979) and a licensed Civil Professional Engineer in the USA (2004), Mr. Rakhamimov holds Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering of the USSR’s Wastewater Treatment Scientific and Research Institute (1985). His focus is to develop markets for BOC in the different fields of application in China, Eastern Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

Dean G. Stathakis, Ph.D., J.D. – IP Lawyer & Advisor
Dean G. Stathakis, Ph.D., J.D. is a registered patent attorney and President of UltimatEdge IP Law Group, P.C. Dr. Stathakis’s practice focuses on patent procurement, portfolio development, technology transfer and life cycle management of intellectual property for clients in the life sciences industry. Dr. Stathakis has substantial experience in world-wide patent prosecution, licensing and merger and acquisition-related due diligence, freedom to operate analyses, and rendering infringement and validity opinions. Areas of technical proficiency include biologic and small molecule pharmaceuticals, formulations, diagnostic and screening assays, antibodies and immunotherapies, medical treatments, medical devices, drug delivery systems, and biotechnology innovations involving genetic engineering, genomics, and/or proteomics.

Prior to founding UltimatEdge, Dr. Stathakis was co-owner, President and Chief Operations Officer of One3 IP Management, P.C. where he was head of the patent procurement group, and his practice also focused on patent procurement, portfolio development, technology transfer and life cycle management of intellectual property for clients in the life sciences industry. Previously, Dr. Stathakis worked at the Orange County Office of global law firm K&L Gates, LLP where his practice focused on the management and prosecution of patent portfolios for Allergan, Beckman Coulter, Baxter Healthcare, Inc. and Spectrum Pharmaceuticals, among others. Prior to joining K&L Gates, Dr. Stathakis practiced at Allergan, Inc., where he managed the legal and intellectual property matters related to BOTOX®, recombinant biologics and small molecule pharmaceuticals. Following receipt of his Ph.D., Dr. Stathakis worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of California, Irvine, first investigating the role of tumor suppressors in human oncology using molecular biology and epidemiology studies, and second on investigating how multiple cell signaling pathways are correctly interpreted and integrated by cells in a spatial and temporal-dependent manner. His research has been the subject of numerous publications in peer-reviewed scientific articles.

Ken Pouliot – Business Development Manager
Mr. Pouliot is a graduate of University of Dayton with BS in Business Management, and has 40 years of selling and market development experience. He managed the Cariflex Polyisoprene business in North America for Kraton Polymers Amsterdam, The Netherlands. He also has expertise in managing new business development, market development, application development and global account management. He has coordinated and directed Global Team calling on factories in Asia, Europe and North America. Prior to Kraton, Ken had a long career with Amcor Limited, the Australian based multinational packaging company.
